Were a majority of the Gazan journalists killed since October 7th, 2023 linked to terrorist organizations?
No independent, universally accepted tally confirms this as an uncontested fact, but the most detailed public analysis of affiliations concludes that roughly 60% were linked to terrorist organizations (primarily Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad/PIJ), while press freedom groups reject or downplay such characterizations and count nearly all as journalists.
