Were a majority of the Gazan journalists killed since October 7th, 2023 linked to terrorist organizations?
I'll look into reports on Gazan journalists killed since October 7, 2023, and any documented affiliations with terrorist groups.I am reviewing the primary sources and CPJ's positions for a balanced view.Yes, according to detailed investigations by Israeli sources examining the lists of those identified as journalists/media workers killed in Gaza, a majority (around 60%) were linked to terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). International press freedom groups like the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) use different criteria and totals, acknowledge some affiliations or combat roles (removing dozens of names after reviews), but do not conclude that a majority of those they verify as journalists had such links.
